SOCCER TRAINING FEATURING GUEST INSTRUCTOR:RIXON COROZO

Rixon Corozo is an ex-Pro Goalkeeper from Ecuador.  He started playing at the young age of 13 for the youth team of ‘El Nacional’ in Quito, Ecuador, and signed professionally at age 16.  He played for El Nacional for the majority of his professional career.  During the time he was at El Nacional, Rixon played internationally for the Ecuadorian National team, for each of the youth divisions, and also for their professional team.  He also played in the ‘Copa Libertadores’ and the ‘Copa Sudamericana,’ representing his pro-team, ‘El Nacional.’


In 2012, he retired from professional soccer due to a knee injury.  He then began an all-year soccer academy in Tumbaco, Ecuador, called “Champions,” for ages 6-16.  He managed and coached there until he came to the United States in August 2016.  He has five years of experience coaching both youth and adults, and specializing in goalkeeper training.
